Build a website to announce a new addition to the family, show-off your hot-rod, sell some products, act as a website for your organization or charity... the uses are unlimited!

Look at some of our member's sites. One member set their site up as an ecommerce gateway, selling flag cases, click here to see their site, or to buy their products! Others advertise their services, display their poetry, or just announce themselves to the world. It's a great introduction to getting your presence on the web, and it's all part of the USVetSpace package.

If you are a member or officer of the VFW, AMVets, or any other veteran orgainization or charity, we are even developing standard templates for veteran organizations and posts, which will allow every post large or small to provide their membership with information about the post and make it easier for potential members to find them. You can link your site to your own Club on USVetSpace, use your own Global calendar to show events to all members, and of course, show pictures of your events in the Photo Gallery section. And, as a proud supporter of veteran causes, you only have to tell us what else you need, and we will do our best to provide.

To get started building your site, you go to the Web Builder, and simply enter some general page info which becomes the default Header info later on, including keywords that will be used by the search engines.

Communitites
We have set up some directories under which you can publish your site. Simply choose which community best describes your site and select that one. If you want us to add more communities, just let us know.. This is your site, and we are here to make sure you have what you need. The community name you select will appear in the URL (or address) of your webpage.

Themes
There are two editors available to you, the most interesting being Site-Weaver, our WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. Site-Weaver presents you with various Themes (default pages) that you can edit and add your own content to. The key here is that you will not have to look at code yourself and will be able to add and move elements around a page. What you see is what you'll get!

The themes are broken down into categories and appear in drop downs. Next to the drop-downs are a series of [Preview] buttons; these allow you to see what the theme looks like. Multiple pages can be selected at once, allowing you to get off to a head start.

When you're done selecting themes, just click the [Create] button at the bottom of the page.

That's it... Build pages, enter your text, photos, etc., and you have a website!

For the more advanced user, they can use their normal website design software and upload files to their directory.
