Hi my name is Rachel Ascione. I am the sister of the first Marine killed in combat while serving in Afghanistan, Cpl. Ron Payne. Since his death in 2004, I have found that there are no support groups targeted just for siblings. So this turned into my dream, to provide that to other siblings. Siblings of Fallen Troops or SOFT is what has been developed from this dream.
I am hoping that if you or anyone you know is in need of support or comfort they will contact me at Soft.org@gmail.com. I am currently trying to set up a web site to make it more able to reach as many siblings as possible who have lost their brother or sister at war (any war).
