Sounds like my husband? He is a 100% disabled 101st Airborne sniper and various "odd jobs?" and he has a hair trigger? It took 6 years total to get both the VA and Social Security to see it that way? The VA beat Social Security by almost 3 years? What is the holdup anyway? I think that they just want us all to go insane waiting so that they can lock us up in the local asylum to keep us quiet and sedated and never have to bother with us again? Too bad that doesn't work for those who never SHUT UP? I wrote so many letters to Senators and elected officials that my fingers nearly fell off, but finally my husband is getting some "treatment?" albeit "questionable?" as there is no proven "cure" for PTSD? But still life goes on and PTSD sufferers are "misunderstood" or "labelled anti-social personalities?" amongst other things by the "uninformed?" It is tiring trying to educate the masses on this horrific state of mind and the effect and affect it causes on the Soldier and all those who love him or her dearly. Why must we persist in our paperwork? Because it is an entitlement earned with the very neurons of the BRAIN that survived COMBAT! Nancy
