With all the veterans suffering from PTSD, as a survivor of PTSD, not battle related but other.. and as a spouse of a disabled soldier living with the condition.. I can say it is very difficult indeed, but there is hope? First, I want to say that family support is crucial. Civilians have to be educated not to "misunderstand" you. Pills that mess up the liver is not the answer. There is a safe herb called Valerian that helps. Sometimes it does not. There are other herbs that can relieve the symptoms but I am afraid they are only prescribed in certain states and still when in receipt of the doctor's orders some find the usage to be questionable? I say, if it works then let our Vets find some peace? Who is to say that they do not deserve it with the current ruling in "SAN FRANCISCO (AP) A federal appeals court has ruled that patients who use marijuana to stay alive are not immune from prosecution for illegal drug use.
Breaking News Alerts may be sent before a story is available on Yahoo! News. A story should be published shortly. Search for related news on Yahoo! News Search." There are reports that this herb does indeed relieve some of the disabling symptoms of PTSD, along with a multitude of other health conditions! But our Government does not see it that way and will deny the use of helpful treatments if it does not meet the "politically correct" statement of the day? Frustrating to say the least?

Respectfully,
Your Ladyship
