C. Now, I know at least some of you have had points in your life where you were so stressed out that you could have just screamed if you hadn't kept yourself from doing so.

It's because of these kinds of emotions that many people get massages. They feel the need to relax and forget they're stresses for a while. After getting a massage, a person may experience a relaxed state of alertness, reduced mental stress, and calmness. Emotional benefits are also encountered during massage. On an emotional level, massage can satisfy the need for a caring and nurturing touch, create a feeling of well-being, enable a greater ease of emotional expression, enhance self-image, reduce anxiety levels, and increase awareness of the mind-body connection.
